La Tete Carree Library

Designed by French artist Sacha Sosno, the sculpture which houses the Central Library in Nice is striking. The cube-shaped building, which balances on top of a neck and chin, is home to three floors of books.

Coco Beach

Coco beach is hidden away from the many tourist hotspots that make up Nice and is a favourite among locals. The Beach is situated between rocks, and is a short walk away from the packed tourist beaches that make up much of the coastline in Nice. Climbing and diving are often enjoyed due to the rocks that surround the beach, and the clear waters provide the chance to snorkel and enjoy marine life.

La Crypte Archeologique de Nice

There is a crypte near the tramway at Place Jacques Toja. A door leads to a staircase that descends into the crypte. A poster that advertises the historical location gives a clue to the archeological secrets which lie beneath. a panel seals the entrance during certain hours obscuring the staircase and making it blend into the square.

Parc du Vinaigrier

Located on the eastern side of Nice, north of the port, Parc du Vinaigrier is a picturesque place to visit. Visitors to the park have a chance to see foxes, badgers and hedgehogs if they’re lucky.

Chateau de Bellet

Northern Nice boasts its own wine region, producing braquet, folle noire and rolle. The Barrons of Bellet family established the vineyards that have over 70 years experience when it comes to winemaking. A short drive from the centre of Nice, visitors can enjoy a tour of the vineyards and the Bellet chapel, which lies within the same grounds.
